Careful, Best Prompter Pro is just a mouse trap. There is no user manual or support for version 1.0 of this this Appl. You will have to guess everything and the interface is not intuitive.

It works well. I would rate it 5 stars if it had an EQ built in, and mp3 export. Still, it is a handy tool!

The app has a lot of bugs. A paid app completely abandoned by the developers. Its a shame.

It is nice but it is neither possible to set the line height nor the margin. This is necessary for professional work. Please update.

Bought it, ran it once and now it wont start up. Rebooted the iPad, still wont run. Four bucks wasted.... Update - contacted Smartphoneware support - they emailed me twice with directions - fixed the issue and the program runs now. Nice to see such quick and effective support. Seems the four bucks was not wasted...Thanks

it would be even better if you can create folders and have remote access with an iPhone or iPod Touch. Just a thought. Good product!

Incredible tool, for guitarist, singer, scripter, working at studio. I had tried many other prompter but Best Prompter Pro, beat all of them, setting is very precise, speed of scrolling, i like all. Congratulations to the team of Best Prompter Pro

Dont go even close to it! Doesnt support any format people would use- doc, PDF or rtf, and they tell you that AFTER you bought the app! Extremely unfriendly to those who dont want or need to import a file.

Just bought the pro version and it keeps crashing. Guess I cant use it for my presentation this afternoon...

Ever since I downloaded the october upgrade to my ipad I cannot copy and past lyrics into best prompter pro like before. DO NOT BUY !!

Voice marks (intonation, pauses, emphasis...) would be a welcomed addition

Not bad, especially for students. It helps with preping presentations.

So far the application is pretty good, have not gotten to spend alot of time using it though. So after spending some time with it my review may change for the better or worse. But so far it seems pretty solid

I have the 64GB latest iPod and I cant get this App. To function! Ive purchased about 60 Apps. So far, and this is the Only one which will not even "OPEN"! The company will not respond to e-mails and the Apple store is also, unhelpful! I would recommend you avoid purchasing this product, but as Mr. Barnum once said...

Im a minister, and have been looking for the perfect presentation app. After researching several teleprompting apps, I bought this one because of the customizable features. I like to highlight certain things, and create specific colored font for specific headings in a message. This app lets me do all that, and much more. Almost everything can be adjusted on the fly, and it even lets me record while I speak (and the recording sounds crystal clear). HIghly impressed by the features and many options. Love it so far! But, as with any app, its not perfect. The editing is left slightly wanting, because when you add color or font changes to your manuscript, you merely see the command to do so as you edit. You cannot actually see the change unless you leave the editing option (which is done with only one button, so its not a huge inconvenience). But, when you go back into editing mode, it bumps you back up to the top of the document, and you then have to scroll back down to where you made the font change, and continue from there. While its an inconvenience, its certainly not a deal breaker. Im told these issues could be fixed with a "wysiwyg" (what you see is what you get) function. An update perhaps could fix it in the future. There is also a button on the bottom in presentation mode that bumps you back up to the the beginning of the presentation. It is eerily close to the speed arrow, and Im fearful I might bump it at any moment in the middle of a message, completely losing my place. I personally wish that function was not even there! The concerns are very minor. Im extremely pleased with the functionality so far and believe this will become the only presentation program I use. Pros: Great edit features Presentation font colors and highlights Several on-the-fly adjustment options Great recording quality Cons: Cannot see your changes as youre making them Reset button could possibly be bumped during a presentation Fix those two things, and Id give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. If you want a way to customize what you see on the teleprompter mode, this is it. And for only 3.99, Id tell anyone to buy it.
